Panasonic is pleased to announce the introduction of our 85” high definition professional plasma display. Suitable for any application, the 85” fits perfectly into any environment such as a boardroom, classroom, hotel, restaurant or even a digital signage application. This new 12 series of plasma display incorporates our NeoPDP(TM) technology, enabling the display to be larger, thinner, lighter and more energy efficient than our previous models. The TH85PF12U is equivalent to four 42” screens and if mounted vertically the screen can display a person in full size! The 85” plasma boasts a slimmer profile as the thickness of the panel measures only 99mm which is 30mm thinner than the 103” – thanks to the NeoPDP(TM) technology that was unveiled last year. Weighing in at 130kg, the 85” plasma is approximately 40% lighter than the 103”, making mobility and installation a small task. Panasonic are known for the excellent image quality and the TH85PF12U is no exception. The plasma has an improved contrast of 40,000:1, which is the highest in the industry, and the moving picture resolution of 1,080 lines deliver a blur-free, crisp, true to life image.
